I wanted to emphasize the spirit of Iceland”. Oda fremfører utdrag fra verket “Song of the Stone” som er inspirert av dikteposet med samme navn av “Kristján frá Djúpalæk” fra 1977.

“(..) the audience was awestruck. I felt I could visualize Norway in her interpretation of the concerto. With each note, it was all there for me: waterfalls rushing down the mountains, peaceful green meadows and the running of trolls and supernatural forces. It was the pianist’s technical command and unique artistic gift that could bring all of this to life!” Lori Ann Reinhall, the Norwegian American «Oda Voltersvik performs Grieg with Panache», May 2022
